Introducing Outlook 365
Logging In
Open your web browser and go to the Outlook 365 login page.
https://outlook.office.com/Enter your school email address and password to log in.
Inbox
The inbox is where you receive and read emails.
Click on an email to read its contents.
Use the toolbar to reply, forward, or delete emails.
Composing Emails
To compose a new email, click on New mail.
Enter the recipient's email address, subject, and your message.
You can search for recipients at Flinders by typing the first part of their name in the To box.You can attach files by clicking on the paperclip icon.
Calendar
Click on the calendar icon to view your schedule.
Create events, set reminders, and manage your time effectively.
Contacts
The People section allows you to save and manage email addresses.
Add new contacts and organize them into groups if needed.
Flinders students and teachers will already be listed in your contacts.
OneDrive
OneDrive is a cloud storage service integrated with Microsoft 365.
Save and access your documents, presentations, and photos from anywhere.
Tasks
Use the To Do feature to create to-do lists and manage your assignments.
Set due dates and priorities to stay organized.
Settings
Explore the settings to customize your Outlook experience.
Adjust display preferences, notification settings, and signature.
Filters and Folders
Organize your inbox using filters and folders.
Create folders to categorize and store different types of emails.
Collaboration
Outlook 365 allows collaboration on documents through Office Online.
Share documents with classmates, work on them simultaneously, and track changes.
Mobile Access
Download the Outlook app on your mobile device for easy access on the go.
Choose Microsoft 365 account when setting up your email.
Stay connected and manage your emails and schedule from anywhere.
Security
Be mindful of phishing emails. Avoid clicking on suspicious links or providing personal information.
Use a strong, unique password for your Flinders account.
