Background

Apple devices are able to AirPrint at Flinders.As part of connecting your device to the Flinders network you installed a link to our print server.

To use AirPrint at Flinders you must be connected to the Flinders Network with your own login and password.

How to Install a Printer

1. Connect to the school WIFI. Here is the Guide
2. Navigate to System Preferences > Printers and Scanners.
   
   

3. Click the + icon under the Printers List.
   
   

4. The Add dialog is displayed. It displays a list of all of the discovered printers on the network.
   
   
   1. Select a printer. The Name, Location, and Use is displayed.
   2. Check that Use is set to Secure AirPrint.
   3. Click Add.
5. Print your document. When prompted, enter your PaperCut username and password.Image Removed

1. 1. the Add dialog. Disconnect from the network, then reconnect to it again. Check if you can see Secure AirPrint now. If you can't, contact your System Administrator.

How to print

Select the print option in your application or press ⌘+P as normal to print.

Select the printer you want to print to from the list

Adjust any other print options 

1. Black and white.
   1. Two-side 
   2. Number of copies
   3. Page selection

If this is the first time your are printing to this printer you maybe prompted for your username and password

Collect your printout from the printer.
